Earlier, Akshay Kumar’s wife Twinkle Khanna had revealed that her political ideology is different from that of her husband. And now, Akshay reveals why it is important for him to avoid talking about political updates and keep it under the carpet.

During a conversation, Akshay Kumar mentioned having a different political stance from his wife Twinkle Khanna. For those who don’t know, let us tell you that Akshay Kumar has been a part of many government initiatives in the past. On the other hand, his wife Twinkle Khanna does not like to talk about his political views.
Hence, Akshay was asked to highlight the differences between him and his wife in matters of politics. Elaborating on the same, the actor mentioned that both of them avoid any political discussions at home to maintain peace. They said:
“My wife has different views about politics than me. We do not impose ourselves on each other. We are completely different and we try to avoid that discussion. This is a discussion we try to avoid because it doesn’t make sense. You know how the other person thinks and you know how you think.
Akshay explains that he and Twinkle sweep things under the carpet
In the same conversation, Akshay Kumar opened up about the importance of brushing things under the carpet. The actor mentioned that people believe in sharing every aspect of their lives. According to him, some things should be ignored to live a happy married life. Sharing his opinion on this, Akshay said:
“They say never to sweep things under the carpet. When you want to live happily, I say sometimes it’s important because that special thing… there is no solution to it. Take it and put it under the carpet and live happily.”
